The Shehnai

We ordered a takeaway from the Shehnai last Friday. It was a large order of 6 starters, 8 mains with rice, 4 naan breads and poppadoms. I phoned the restaurant to place the order, but unfortunately they can't take care payments over the phone. The guy I spoke to was very helpful though and when I placed they order online he phoned me to let me know they had received it. I asked his long it would take, he said 1hr 20 minutes which given the size of the order was entirely reasonable. We had our order delivered to our door, 1hr and 30 mins later. The food was delicious and everyone was more than happy with the portion sizes, quality and price. We will definitely be ordering from here again

Ordered food at 4.40pm wait time for delivery was 6pm did not arrive until 6.50pm. Food was cold on arrival and not to the previous standard. Very disappointed will probably not use again

I ordered a Chicken Vindaloo online and what I collected from Shenai, when I got home, was labelled a ‘B C’ - it was Bhuna Chicken.

Absolutely class.....had a vindaloo with chips and chicken pakoras.....was one of if not the best tasting one ive ever had. Very hot but still packed with so much taste amd cooked perfectly ???? 5/5 to the chef....and delivery was before the alloted time ????
